Welcome to Gastroenterology Health Partners

Gastroenterology Health Partners, PLLC (GHP) is the largest subspecialty independent Gastroenterology practice providing care to Louisville, Lexington, Southern Indiana and surrounding communities. GHP is considered a Gastroenterology ‘supergroup’ and it is the only one of its kind in the region providing treatment for a full spectrum of digestive system disorders. Formed in 2012, GHP was the product of a vision to provide the highest quality, most cost-effective GI care in the region.

The three independent practices of Louisville Gastroenterology Associates, Gastroenterology of Southern Indiana, and Gastroenterology Health Partners East joined forces to create one enterprise as GHP to serve our community on a level which was unprecedented for GI care in our community.  Since its initial formation in 2012, GHP has also welcomed Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Associates serving Northeast and South Louisville and Bluegrass Gastroenterology Associates serving Lexington, Kentucky.  Each of our GI fellowship-trained physicians and advanced practice clinicians enjoy the privilege of serving referring primary care clinicians and work in unison with its procedure center partners and preferred hospital systems in the region.

Gastroenterology Health Partners, PLLC offers a skilled clinical team of 21 fellowship-trained Gastroenterologists and 13 advanced practice clinicians.  Our entire clinical team is committed to serving as your regional GI center of excellence. Our physicians offer expert specialization in all aspects of GI care, including disorders involving the upper and lower gastrointestinal tracts, liver and pancreas, and have a vast degree of experience with colonoscopy, diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopy, diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound.  As a large group, GHP is able to provide services for all aspects of your care and a full suite of GI Ancillary Services is available to our patients.

GHP has its own Pathologists specializing in Gastroenterology. We are able to process specimens in-house when your procedure is performed at one of our procedure-center partner locations. This allows for rapid and accurate results back to you and your referring physician. Onsite processing also allows GHP to offer pathology services at a cost-competitive rate.Infusion Therapy
As an infusion patient, you have a choice in deciding a location for your infusion therapy. Cost and convenience are critical to this decision. GHP offers the convenience of this service to its patients at a cost which is far lower than an inpatient setting. Contact our office to reach a dedicated Infusion therapy concierge to confirm options available to you based on your specific health plan.

GHP clinicians have a passion for seeking out and refining new treatments and advanced solutions for those suffering from disorders of the digestive system. If you believe you may be a candidate for one of our studies, please contact our GHP Research Manager, Deborah Walker via email at dwalker@ghpartners.net or by phone at 812-206-1702.
